January 31, 2008: Anitguans were taken by
surprise on Wednesday when the family of a veteran
politician reported him missing.
Charlesworth Samuel, the 69 year-old Minister of
Agriculture has not been seen since leaving his home on foot
at approximately 10 o’clock on Tuesday night. Reports are
that he seemed normal on the evening, displaying nothing
unusual about his emotional state and he did not take his
car or any travel documents when he went out.
On Wednesday night the family launched an appeal to the
public for assistance in locating the whereabouts of
Minister Samuel and requested prayers for his safe return.
Antiguan police are appealing to anyone with information to
contact them. |
