“This event
promises to bring together some of the brightest and most
successful minds from the Caribbean to tackle some of our
biggest challenges and provide future entrepreneurs with a
solid vision and foundation for the region for the next two
decades” states Damany Gibbs, co-organizer of this year’s
conference.
Along with the list of featured speakers, the conference
will also host a series of panels focused on a wide range of
subjects that are emerging as critical needs for the
Caribbean. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear
experts from the field of Energy, Capital Markets,
Entrepreneurship and the Caribbean Single Market and
Economy. The week long event will culminate with the
Business Leader’s Dinner where attendees will be presented
with an excellent opportunity to interact with Trinidad's
most successful business leaders in a relaxed social
setting.
Indeed, some of the most prominent companies in Trinidad and
the Caribbean are some of this year’s main sponsors.
FirstCaribbean International Bank, the largest,
regionally-listed bank in the English-speaking Caribbean is
the lead sponsor. Others include Neal & Massy, The Trinidad
and Tobago Tourism Development Company, ANSA McAL, BG
Trinidad & Tobago, eTeck, NGC, RBTT, UTT and Knowledge Works
(Distributors for Harvard Publishing in the Caribbean).
"Neal & Massy is proud to be a sponsor for the second
consecutive time that the Caribbean MBA Conference has come
to Trinidad & Tobago. We endorse its mission to provide
employment and investment opportunities for talented
Caribbean nationals who wish to return and participate in
the development of the Caribbean. Now in its sixth year, the
Caribbean MBA Conference is making a significant impact in
the region.” states Gervase Warner of Neal and Massy.
Other sponsors like BG Trinidad & Tobago see this year’s
conference theme as a perfect alignment to their overall
goal of “Opportunities and Skills for Development”. Having
been active participants in the socio-economic development
of Trinidad and Tobago, they view their involvement in this
year’s event as a natural fit in achieving their vision for
the Caribbean.
