15 year old charged with murder in Tortola.
November 23, 2007: A 15-year-old minor male appeared in court for the second time on Wednesday, charged with the stabbing death of a 16-year-old. The murder occurred during J'ouvert in Tortola on August 6th, this year. Authorities say a series of fights on that  morning, between two groups of young men, resulted in fatal assaults on a 16 year old, Akimo  Williams, who was stabbed and an 18-year-old, Jeremy Wattley, who died of head injuries.

The teen, who was arrested earlier this month and first appeared in court on November 9, was remanded to prison and a preliminary inquiry has been set for Jan. 21.

In addition to the murder he has been charged with grievous bodily harm on a 17-year-old boy who suffered cuts on his head after being hit by a bottle at around the same time.
