November 19, 2007: Two of the
latest murders in the Nassau Bahamas are troubling police by
the identity of the victims and gruesome nature of the
crimes which have brought the
record homicide toll in the
country to 68 officially though
suspicious deaths not yet classified could see it raised to
70.
37-year-old fashion designer Harl Taylor was brutally
stabbed to death in his home over the weekend. Police
believed the attacker was someone he knew as there was no
sign of forced entry. His decaying body was found on Sunday
morning by a male friend. Taylor's much-sought-after
hand-woven straw bags, have reportedly been purchased by
celebrities such as Elle McPherson and Oprah Winfrey, since
they hit the fashion scene in 1999.(External
