2007: A 17-year-old school girl in
Jamaica allegedly fell victim to a vicious gang of rapists
after going online in search of her mother.
According to reports on Radio Jamaica, it all started when
the teen posted personal
information, including a photograph of herself on the
internet last month, with the hope of it
leading to her mother.
She later received a call from a
woman claiming to be her mother and supposedly, the woman
sent a 21-year-old man to pick her up so the two could
visit. The man allegedly took the teen to a house, where was
locked up and sexually molested by him
and as many as four other men who
later entered the room.After being
released the teen reported the assault to the cops who then
set up a sting operation, netting the alleged 21-year-old
kidnapping rapist.
The man, Everton Stewart, is facing 30 charges ranging from
rape to indecent assault. |
