According to Rolf
Phillips, Managing Director, Retail Banking, the innovation
positions FirstCaribbean as a Bank committed to responding
to market needs in a rapidly diversifying Caribbean
community.
Also, Phillips noted that the introduction of the
multi-language prompts enhances the customer service
experience of ABM users who speak one of the three new
languages being featured.
“The rollout of this initiative is one that provides
tremendous benefits to customers who prefer to complete
transactions in a language other than English. Moreover, it
removes some of the language barriers, which non-English
speakers typically face when conducting automated banking
transactions within the English-speaking Caribbean,” he
said.
FirstCaribbean has a network of 121 ABMs throughout the
Caribbean, which process more than 20,000 transactions
everyday.
