2007: Reports out of Trinidad are that in the past 72
hours there "have been no fewer than ten murders, making
this the bloodiest week in the bloodiest month of the year
so far, with 38 murders."
This increased the murder rate to 291 to-date for 2007,
lower than 2006 when the
toll over the same period stood at 318.Trinidad has an
approximate population of 1,056,608. |
