2007: A UK man and his family were held at gun & knife
point in their home on Tuesday as there
were robbed by three armed men.
It was the second time in three weeks that the residence was
broken into and it has left the already shaken family,
living in fear. The man was
accosted with a gun directly pointed at his chest and a
knife to his throat as he began
closing the doors of his home for
the night at about half pass ten. His wife managed to lock
herself in the bedroom, but her attempts to call neighbors
for help were all for naught as they were
too afraid to lend any
assistance. By the time the police arrived,
the brazen unmasked robbers had made off with EC $
1000, cameras, cellular phones, telescopes and other items,
compounding the family's loss of
other electronic items three week earlier.
The couple's 5 year-old son who was in his room asleep,
was awaken during the ordeal and witnessed his father being
threatened and beaten with the deadly objects.
In the last few months several
residents of English Harbour have reportedly been
robbed by armed men. |
