The TEMPO family will be bringing the TEMPO in full force, including Mr. TEMPO, himself, Founder Frederick Morton, Jr. and Tempo VJs, Empress Jeanille, Island Girl Anushca, Hector Lincoln, Jahbami, Jabba, Jamie Thomas, and Nikki D. Over twelve acts are expected to perform. Headlining the event will be the Caribbean icon himself, Mr. “Putting up A Resistance”, Beres Hammond. In addition to the weekend’s entertainment, TEMPO TURNS TWO sponsor Caribbean AutoMart of St. Croix will be giving away a brand new Subaru 2.5 SI to a lucky ticket-holder at the show. TEMPO’s “Badness Outta Style” campaign will be the central theme in TEMPO TURNS TWO celebrations. In that regard, TEMPO will be visiting five schools throughout St. Croix on November 6th and 7th in order to promote its anti-violence message to young people. The visits seek to teach younger fans about the dangers of violence and to promote the “One Love” philosophy that is at the heart of TEMPO’s mission. “I am eternally grateful for the love of my home, the United States Virgin Islands, St. Croix, for giving me the fuel that drives the TEMPO movement. I want to give back and celebrate the community that raised me and sparked the TEMPO! St. Croix, St. John, St. Thomas and Water Island get ready: TEMPO TURNS TWO! Love you like cook food!,” said, Mr. Tempo, Frederick Morton, Jr., Founder, Senior Vice President & General Manager. |
