October 08, 2007: Antiguans on the weekend had
to cope with the most horrible of murders. A 17 year
old mother of a 23-month-old and 3-year-old, allegedly
stabbed the younger child twice directly in the heart. The
baby was reportedly found clutching a piece of paper on
which a handwritten note was scribed. The contents of the
note remain unrevealed at this point.
A two-pronged, blood-stained fork allegedly found
under the house, by police is suspected to be the deadly
weapon weapon.
Police are quoted as saying that the teen mother had
become dejected in recent time over several personal issues,
including the paternity of her child. In addition to holding
the mother, police are holding a young man with whom the
teen is said to have had a relationship. |
