5, 2007: International entertainer Barry Rocklin has
been wowing piano bar audiences worldwide for more than 15
years. And he has returned to the
Netherlands Antilles to perform at The Sopranos Piano Bar,
located at the Sonesta Maho Beach Resort Plaza, through the
end of October.
Barry has journeyed from his home in suburban Boston to
piano engagements at some of the world's finest piano bars
and hotel lounges, including venues through the Caribbean
and in Germany, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, Canada, Japan,
Iceland and Poland -- between stints as musical director for
renown productions from Miami to Montreal.
He is also
a favorite on board the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line.
Barry originally hailed from the Chicago area, where he
became the youngest member of the Chicago Musician's Union
at the age of 15. He began accruing college credits at the
National Music Camp at the University of Michigan when he
was only 12 and continued his studies at the prestigious
Berklee College of Music. Musical entertainment is the only
employment Barry has known since he was 14 years old.
Barry is a brilliant pianist with a strong voice, boundless
enthusiasm and a performance flair uniquely his own. His
love for music is obvious and infectious. With a memorized
repertoire of more than 2,500 songs, Barry puts on a show
guaranteed to surprise, energize and entertain audiences
everywhere.
Catch his shows Mondays through Saturdays from 9 p.m. to 2
a.m. |
