| Miss Bahamas World Anya Watkins |
July 23, 2007: The Rain Forest Theatre on the Cable Beach Strip,
in Nassau Bahamas, was host
to a sold out crowd last evening at the prestigious 2007 Miss Bahamas World Pageant.
Fifteen
(15) fabulous Bahamian beauties competed for the coveted Miss Bahamas World
crown in all its glory, in addition to $30,000 in prizes and the prestige of
representing her country.
Two other titles were awarded on the evening to the 1st and 2nd
runners up – they were Miss Bahamas Tourism Queen and Miss Bahamas
Intercontinental, respectively. They will go on to compete in these titled
international competitions – representing the Bahamas.
The girls were very well
prepared, showing poise, elegance and intelligence throughout the evening.
The
show was a well organized and managed, top quality production - a splendid
success!
