Trinidadian
Olympian arrested in New York believed to be a Serial
Rapist. |
July 4, 2007:
Police in New York have arrested former Trinidad Olympian
Alvin Henry (30) under the suspicion
of him being a serial rapist.
He was arraigned on July 3, after allegedly confessing to
raping 5 women over 4 years in city parks, including a
15-year-old girl. He is believed to be the “Lovers’
Lane” serial rapist, who attacked two women in Prospect Park
and three women in Baisley Park and Roy Wilkins Park in
Queens. Most of the women were attacked immediately after
they left the company of men. |

30-year-old Henry,
is a former member of Trinidad and Tobago's 2000 Olympic
team in Sydney, Australia.
It has been reported that he was
caught after he exchanged phone numbers with and texted his
15 year old victim. |
