Reallocation of ministeral
portfolios in St Lucia cabinet |

June 11, 2007:
CASTRIES, St Lucia: Sir John Compton who is still ill
remains as The Prime Minister of St Lucia, Minister of
External Affairs, Rufus Bousquet has been sacked from the
Sir John Compton-led administration while Dr Keith Mondesir
has been transferred from his previous portfolio.
Rufus Bousquet In accordance with Section 62 of the St Lucia Constitution
Order 1978, the Governor-General, acting on behalf of the
Prime Minister notified the public of the re-allocation of
the following Ministerial portfolios as of June 06, 2007.
1. Office of the Prime Minister
Prime Minister: The Right Honorable Sir John Compton
2. Ministry of Finance (including International Financial
Services), External Affairs, Home Affairs, National
Security, Labor, Information and Broadcasting
Minister: The Honorable Stephenson King
Minister in the Ministry, with responsibility for
Information and Broadcasting: Senator the Honorable
Tessa Mangal |

3. Ministry of Economic Affairs, Economic Planning,
National Development (to include responsibility for the
Corporation) and Public Service
Minister: Senator the Honorable Ausbert d"Auvergne
4. Ministry of Trade (Domestic and International) Industry
and Commerce
Minister: Senator the Honorable Guy Mayers
5. Ministry of Health
Minister: The Honorable Edmund Estephane
6. Ministry of Physical Development and National
Mobilization
Minister: Dr. the Honorable Keith Mondesir
