Tourism Scholarships Extends Applications Deadline |
March, 21, 2007: The Caribbean Hotel Foundation (CHF)
announced on Friday Mar 16, that it will be extending
acceptance of applications for its scholarship program until
April 15, 2007.
Academic scholarships are offered to full or part-time
students, professional development scholarships for
hospitality employees, as well as further education grants
for teachers.
Eligible applicants must be a Caribbean national, have a
high school (or equivalent secondary school) degree,
pursuing a tourism-related educational degree and
demonstrated financial need, among others.
In 2006 the Foundation issued 39 scholarships to eligible
applicants from 19 Caribbean nations, valued at US
$144,50
