They were present at the Digicel Caribbean Cup Final match after having won the Motorola handset Promotion. The competition saw persons who bought a Motorola handset from a Digicel store being automatically entered into a draw to win the coveted tickets to Trinidad.

The prize was worth the trip since they were able to see Haiti power its way through the Trinidad and Tobago defense to claim the top spot in Caribbean football. The seven winners were treated royally during their short visit to Trinidad & Tobago, getting the best seats in the Hasely Crawford Stadium. At the stadium they were given tons of Digicel branded treats to show their support.

Raymond Reece from Guyana said that, “I had hoped for my national team to reach the final match since it was one of the favorites coming into the competition but, all in all, I was pleased with the way the final match ended.” Digicel kept the fans on the edge of their seats for the entire competition with tons of handset giveaways and free credit in each match played during the Digicel Caribbean Cup finals.

Digicel is proud to have made this trip possible for the fans who are sure to keep the memories of the great plays and even more the spectacular closing ceremony close to their hearts for a long time to come. St. Lucia’s Pius Marcelle hammered this point home when he noted that, “as a fan I felt like I was more a part of this tournament than any other football match I have ever been to,” he said waving his Digicel thunderstick, “I am truly impressed with the number of giveaways and the many opportunities fans were given by Digicel and really hope that we can see this in many more games to come.”
