Every week since 25 November 2006 there has been one lucky winner, drawn from the hundreds of eligible customers who qualified to enter the draw in several ways including purchasing top-up and other goods and services from the telecommunications company.

On learning of her good fortune, Ms Haasi the week five winner, brimming with excitement said very succinctly and simply ‘it pays to be early!’ Ms Sharon Richardson was equally ecstatic to learn that she was the winner in week six and could hardly contain herself. Ms Richardson conveyed her gratitude also in very simple and poignant words, ‘God is good.’ she said.

All the weekly winners of the Cable & Wireless Christmas raffle, namely; ‘ Sancia Price, Elneth Lake, Brenda Fox, Didric Webster, Ann Haasi and Sharon Richardson, were eligible to enter the grand raffle for the thirty five thousand dollar prize commemorating 35 years of Cable & Wireless operations in Anguilla.

As part of the Christmas promotion, there will also be a special raffle for high-speed internet customers to be drawn in the middle of January 2007 in which one lucky customer will win a brand new Dell computer. Customers qualified for this raffle by purchasing any high-speed internet service (including NetSpeak), upgrading to a new internet plan, purchasing a new modem or any other high-speed internet transaction.
