Scotiabank, known for its commitment to supporting the
community and children, is once again reaching out by
sponsoring the 2nd annual fundraising event of The Arijah
Children's Foundation "A Beautiful Evening of Praise for A
Beautiful Cause".
Presented by Chapelights Ministry, The Arijah Children's
Foundation, and the Anguilla Tourist Board, this very
special gospel concert will feature renowned Jamaican gospel
singer, Mr. George Gordon. Mr. Gordon, inspired by the
Foundation's mission, has offered to perform a charity
gospel concert this 4th July 2009 at 7pm at the Landsome
Bowl Cultural Centre. Proceeds from the concert will assist
The Arijah Children's Foundation in its mission of
establishing a centre for special needs children in
Anguilla.

The Arijah Children's Foundation is a non-profit
organization dedicated to serving Anguilla's special needs
children. The mission of the Foundation is to establish a
centre for childcare, learning and other facilitative
services for the special needs children in Anguilla. The
Foundation works closely with the Government of Anguilla to
progress its goals, and the Government has pledged their
support to the Foundation by various means.
Through its fundraising efforts and support from the
public and private sectors, the Foundation hopes that its
childcare and learning facility, Blossom Centre, shall be in
operation this 2009.
Renuka Harrigan, Founder of The Arijah Children's
Foundation, expresses on behalf of The Arijah Children's
Foundation, their gratitude to Scotiabank for taking the
lead in these challenging economic times to support the
concert and for continuing to reach out to the community. A
special thank you also goes out to the Anguilla Tourist
Board in helping us to organize this event and the
Government of Anguilla for their continued support of the
Foundation's efforts.
The Arijah Children's Foundation would like to invite the
entire community
to attend this special concert in support of "A Beautiful
Cause".
