Anguilla will be  represented at The National Lotteries Authority 8th Elite Caribbean Cycling Championship to be held in St. Vincent & The Grenadines on October 26 & 27, 2008, by Kris Pradel, Benjamin "Donger" Phillips and the 2008 OECS Champion, Claude "Patterson" Richardson. Members of the executive body of the  Anguilla Amateur Cyling Association will accompany the cyclists and in a release on Friday the organization extended their best wishes.

Other countries invited to the championship included St Lucia, Barbados, Grenada, Antigua, Tortola, St Croix, St Martin, Martinique, Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Suriname, Dominica, Haiti, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Belize, St Kitts, Montserrat, Curacao, Jamaica, Guyana, Bermuda, Bahamas, Aruba, and host country St Vincent and the Grenadines.

October 26th Time Trial Women        12 miles
October 26th Time Trial Men            24 miles

Race Day
October 27th Road Race Women    37 miles
October 27th Road Race Men        75 miles

The Anguilla team will leave the island on Saturday, October 25, 2008 at 2 p.m. and return on Tuesday, October 28, 2008.
