The Government of Anguilla has decided to establish a
semi autonomous self sustaining Water Corporation to manage
water supply on the island. A consultant has been engaged to
oversee this activity.
The Water Dept of the Ministry of Infrastructure,
Communications, Utilities, Housing, Agriculture and
Fisheries now manages water matters.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified individuals
to fill the post of Chief Executive Officer CEO of the new
Corporation. The selected person should have professional
training preferably at the Masters level from a recognized
institution in one of the following disciplines; (a) Water
or civil engineering, (b) Finance, business administration
or accounting, or (c) Management or Human Resource
management. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of
five years experience at a senior management level in
business or a utility environment.
The Board of the new Corporation and the new legislation are
in place and it is expected to begin operations by January
2009. The appointment could be on contract for a period of
two or three years, renewable by agreement.

The position carries benefits which include basic salary,
housing, travel, and communication allowances. Health
benefits as for government employees is available as well as
a gratuity payable annually. Anguilla is free of income tax.
A person residing outside of Anguilla would be allowed
mobilization costs to Anguilla as well as repatriation
assistance.
