Targets Key Travel Trade Partners In Canada

(The Valley, Anguilla)- Under the theme "Anguilla Lights Up
Canada," the Ministry of Tourism and the Anguilla Tourist
Board will host a series of activities in Toronto, Canada to
showcase the extraordinary appeal of Anguilla's Tourism
sector. The events which will take place on September 22nd
are timed to coincide with the annual Caribbean Tourism Week
to be held in Toronto September 23rd-26th, 2008.
The Anguilla delegation, led by the Hon. Victor F. Banks,
Minister of Finance, Economic Development, Investment and
Tourism, includes the Hon. Donna Banks, Special Advisor -
Tourism, Mr John Benjamin, Chairman - Anguilla Tourist Board
and Mrs Amelia Vanterpool-Kubisch, Director of Tourism. From
the hotel sector : Mr Alfred Thompson - Carimar Beach Club,
Mrs Sherille Hughes - Paradise Cove, Ms Marion Edgecomb,
Sirena Resort , Ms Rebecca Sajous, Cuisinart Resort & Spa
and Ms Lilian Day - KU and Cap Juluca Resorts. Entertainment
during the event will be provided by Boss and his Horse
Power Band.
Anguilla will also be one of several Caribbean islands
participating in the Caribbean Tourism Organization week of
activities
The Anguilla events are being coordinated by the Anguilla's
North American representatives, Mrs Marie Walker - Marketing
Director, North America and Ms. Dale Pusching, the Canada
Representative.
