Police are appealing for assistance in apprehending the
person who robbed a business establishment on Wednesday
April 30. According to officials, on that evening at
about 9:00p.m. police responded to a report of a robbery at
the Sunshine shop at South Hill. Four persons who were
on the scene at the time of the robbery indicated to them
that, at 8:45p.m. one assailant about 5ft 7in tall
with a slim body entered the Sunshine shop wearing a mask,
dark clothing and construction boots. The armed
man held up the workers at gun point and robbed them
of four thousand US dollars ($4000.00US).
Police say inquiries are continuing into this
matter and are appealing to anyone with information relating
to this case to contact the criminal investigation
department.
