Caribbean Cable Communications Converter Box Problem

The general public is advised that between Wednesday 30th
April and Thursday 1st May 2008, all of the converter boxes
that provide service for the premium channels (i.e. HBO,
Cinemax, The Movie Channel & Discovery Channel) and
SportsMax experienced malfunction due to equipment failure
on our end. This equipment failure would have resulted in
none of the converter boxes functioning.
We are happy to report that the new piece of equipment has
been installed and all of the converter boxes have been sent
new signals that will enable them to work. The public is
asked to note that each customer who has a converter box will have their account credited for the two (2) days
that their service was interrupted.
Additionally, the public is advised that should their
converter box not work they should not disconnect it but
simply call Caribbean Cable Communications’ offices to have
a refreshed signal sent to the box.
Caribbean Cable Communications apologises for the
inconvenience caused and assure its customers that the
problem has been rectified
