Windward Island Airways international N.V. (WINAIR) has
announced a US$12.50 fuel surcharge on one-way tickets
on all flights and US$25 for round trips as of 1 May. The
new surcharge is a "direct result of the steady rise in fuel
prices", said the company in a Press Release.
Windward Islands Airways International N.V. is a regional
airline, founded in 1961, that operates 3 Twin-Otter and 4
Britten-Norman Islander aircraft between ten destinations.
They offer daily connections from their main gateway, the
Princess Juliana Airport in St. Maarten, or Antigua to the
islands of Saba, St. Eustatius, St. Barths, St. Kitts,
Nevis, Montserrat, Anguilla and Tortola
The new surcharge will be applied at their ticketing desks. |
