Ronde Atwell Carty (37) of North Side,  lost his life  in a tragic vehicle accident on Tuesday morning. Authorities say that at approximately 1:00am his car collided with the Barbrows building in the vicinity of First Caribbean in The Valley. Police responded to the scene and found the victim in his extensively damaged Green Ford Ranger P 9293 on the road adjacent to the building. The Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) and the Anguilla Fire and Rescue Service arrived on the scene and extracted Mr. Carty from the vehicle. He was transported to the princess Alexandra hospital by Ambulance, where he was later pronounced dead.

In a separate accident, authorities say that Mr Earl Eliseus Anthony,a 48-year-old St. Lucian man residing at Swing High Anguilla, was killed while off loading a container using a fork lift at Viceroy in West End. Police were called and responded to the scene at around 5:15pm. Mr. Anthony was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital by ambulance and pronounced dead shortly after arriving. The body was taken to Two Sons Funeral Home to await a post mortem.
