Mr. Kenville 'Stingne' Hall of South Hill - Aunt Katie,
South Hill, in the more precise words of Mr. Hall – is the
first place winner in Cable & Wireless’ year end credit
promotion. Stingne, just one of five luck winners, is now
the proud owner of a BlackBerry Curve mobile device.
All the other gifts were cash prizes ranging from EC$1000 to
EC$ 250.
The winners are:
- Ms. Vernice Edwards who won EC$1000,
- Ms. Iris Webster who won EC$750,
- Mr. Eustace and Mrs Lorna Fleming who won EC$500 and
- Ms. Valery Webster winner of EC$250.
This promotion was held at the end of the company’s
fiscal year (31 March) as a means of encouraging early bill
settlement and to reward five prompt paying, lucky C&W
customers.

The winners were very surprised and happy with their good
fortune and acknowledged that there are many benefits to
prompt bill settlement. Mr. Hall who won the BlackBerry
Curve admitted to not being too familiar with the device but
would be happy to learn. He immediately requested a crash
course from Vyonne Brooks one of C&W’s Retail Sales agents
on how to use his new phone.
