Sudden Death being investigated - police call for an end to the dissemination of misinformation.

(The Valley Anguilla) - The Royal Anguilla Police Force (RAPF) is calling on persons  responsible for the dissemination of misinformation surrounding the sudden death of Clinton Reid aka "HAPPIE", to discontinue the practice.

Police say that they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the sudden death of Reid, which occurred on Tuesday, April 08, 2008. They say that at about 7:15 a.m. on that morning, they received a report that Reid was in the area of the National Bank Of Anguilla (NBA) and was in need of help.  Two officers of the Beat and Patrol Unit responded, escorted Reid to The Valley police station nearby and soon after transported Reid to the Princess Alexandra Hospital where he was treated.

At 8:23 a.m., Reid was pronounced dead at the hospital. His body was subsequently taken to Two Son's funeral home where it is awaiting a post mortem examination.
