On Friday the regular
basketball league continued as the mutant X-men played the Police sponsored Shottaz in an intriguing encounter. The game remained close as both teams
traded points like boxers in a ring.
The game was decided by one point as Xmen
scored 66 and Shottaz scored 67. The leading scorers for both teams were
Rowemain “Special” Carty 26 points, 8 assists, 5 rebounds, while Javelle
“Special” Brooks had 29 points, and 7 rebounds.
In game two the Hard Knox
continued their loosing ways as Over Drive sprinted pass them to the finish
line. The leading scorers for both teams were; Trigga, 27points, 8 rebounds for
Over Drive, while for Hard Knox Khalid had 20 points and two rebounds.
The regular league was suspended as All-star festivities
fragranced the air.
