Journalists
had the opportunity on Thursday, to accompany tourism
officials to Bird of Paradise Villa - Sandy Hill
Anguilla, for a rendezvous with "Sell Anguilla and Win!"
winner Mr. James Augerinos.
Mr. Augerinos, a honeymoon and destination wedding
specialist, was the Grand Prize winner of a "Sell Anguilla
and Win!" promotional event held in 2007 by American Eagle
(then celebrating 20yrs of Service into Anguilla) and the
Anguilla Tourist Board (ATB).
It provided a chance for agents who booked a minimum of
eight American Eagle-Anguilla trips per month to be eligible
for monthly cash drawings of $2,000. Qualifying agents were
then entered into the Grand Prize drawing for a five-day
trip to the Bird of Paradise Villa for a party of five,
complete with airline tickets and car rental.
"Mr. Augerinos is a big seller for Anguilla, we
appreciate contributions from top producing agents like him,
as it is extremely significant in order for Anguilla to
remain a formidable, quality tourism destination." said Ms.
Twyla Richardson, Marketing Officer with the ATB in

She continued, "We at the Anguilla Tourist Board value our
industry partners and strive to justly compensate them for
their services. It is our hope that our marketing
initiatives for 2008 will continue to guide overall
objectives and increase occupancy levels across all facets
of the island. "
