(The Valley, Anguilla) - Police in Anguilla  are continuing  inquiries into the disappearance of  Mr. Victor Luciano Diaz De-La-Cruz, a national of the Dominican Republic, who was charged for the offence of Causing Death by Dangerous Driving as a result of a fatal road traffic accident which occurred on the 23rd February 2008. De-La-Cruz was on bail awaiting prosecution on the charge.

According to police, on Thursday 6th March 2008 Mrs. Delores De-La-Cruz a national of the Dominican Republic reported to the Valley Police Station that her son, Victor Luciano Diaz De-La-Cruz, was missing from 5th March 2008. The report indicated that Mr. De-La-Cruz left his home for work on the 5th March 2008 and did not return.

Police investigations later discovered his vehicle at his work place, however inquiries there did not reveal any information concerning his  whereabouts.
