March 04, 2008: The 2008 Road Primary School Golf
Tournament is being organized for 10:00am Saturday,
June 21st, 2008 at the Temenos Golf Club. All proceeds of
the event will go towards improving the learning environment
at Road Primary School which is currently home to 322
students (Grades 2-6) and according to organizers, is in
need of several repairs, maintenance, landscape work and
other resources such as a library.
The tournament will follow a Four-person Scramble
format with 75% of the team handicap. The entry fee is
US $155.00 per player to include green fees, cart fees,
continental breakfast, lunch and awards. Appropriate golf
attire must be worn to include a collared shirt, slacks or
shorts and soft soled shoes - no denim or exercise clothing
is permitted.
The registration deadline for payment and forms is Saturday,
June 14th, 2008.
