1. Youth Leadership Training Seminar: This activity took place at Paradise Cove on August 30. Youth leaders from various organizations were trained in strategic planning, proposal writing, facilitating meetings and institutions of governance. This activity was a conducted in partnership with the Department of Youth and Culture. (Excerpt from Presidents Report)
2. Leaders of tomorrow...Today: This I believe was one of our most successful and fun activities. It provided young people with the opportunity to gain an appreciation of the roles of various decision makers in the community including personalities such as the Chief Minister, Minister of social Development among others. 3. HIV/AIDS Workshop: The information shared at this workshop which was produced in partnership with the National HIV/AIDS Programme provided participants with valuable information about HIV/AIDS including tips on dealing with the issue. (Excerpt from Presidents Report)

Ms. Roberts spoke well of her experience as president and referred to it as one of the most challenging, yet rewarding experiences of her life.

The new executive, which retains three (3) of five (5) members from the previous executive, will likewise be tasked with rebuilding the Council which has had an extended period of dormancy. It was moved and decided that the new executive committee will serve a period of one (1) year.
