November 08, 2007: According to the Daily
Herald out of St. Maarten, the Captain of a boat that
carries passengers between Anguilla and St. Maarte was fined
$US 500 in St. Maarten on November 5, for failing to notify
authorities that he intended to enter St. Maarten and dock
at Island Water World as well as failing to inform Anguilla authorities
of his travel plans.
The boat captain was identified as R. J. Grenada and his
boat the PP Express was intercepted by St. Maarten
Coast Guard officers reportedly for not having life vests.
Officers then found that all 11 occupants were lacking legal
