August 08, 2007: Mr. Miguel Franklin made history last
evening in being crowned the first ever Mr. CCB Talented
Teen from a field of three males, Mr. Omari Gumbs, Mr. Sharod
Roberts and himself.
Among the six female contestants, the most petite, Ms. K'nyshau Cameron, distinguished herself by being crowned
Ms. CCB Talented Teen 2007. Ms. Jaymese Orthello was adjudged
first runner up and second runner up was awarded to Ms. Khera
Richardson. The remaining female contestants were, Ms. Taitu
Goodwin, Ms. Tamra Hughes and Ms. Tiffany Rollan.

As with all the Carnival events to date, the show was
very well attended and flowed relatively smoothly. The
inclusion of male contestants was a very interesting addition
to the talent competition and each seemed to fully enjoy
having the opportunity to showcase their talent and style.

In general most contestants performed at a very high standard
during their promotional speech, talents and
formal wear categories, but perhaps let themselves down
during their question and answer segment.
