The Valley, Anguilla, August 4th, 2007 --- “If my people
who are called by my name would humble themselves and pray,
seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I
hear from heaven, forgive them of their sins and heal their
land.”The Government of Anguilla has declared Thursday,
August 16, 2007 as a Day of Mourning, Repentance and
Prayer. It is the day when all religious groups, civic
organizations, parents, teachers and the general community
on Anguilla are being asked to participate in a Rally at the
Webster’s park as a declaration of our intention to STOP THE
VIOLENCE ON ANGUILLA.
A half-holiday will be given and all who understand the
pain of this violence and want to see a solution are asked
to come out and support the move to take back Anguilla.
The Rally will commence at 2:00p.m. Further details will
be provided at a later date prior to the Rally. |
