ANGUILLA'S MINISTER OF FINANCE
ASSUMES CHAIRMANSHIP OF THE EASTERN CARIBBEAN CENTRAL BANK
MONETARY COUNCIL |
July 21, 2007:
Anguilla's Minister of Finance, the Honourable Victor
Banks, took the reigns of chairmanship of the Eastern
Caribbean Central Bank Monetary Council from Dr. Ralph
Gonsalves, Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, St.
Vincent and the Grenadines at the 59th of the Council,
convened in Anguilla today. The 59th meeting is being
held in keeping with the conclusions of the 58th monetary
council meeting.
Discussions at the meeting will focus mainly on the
Governor’s report to the monetary council on monetary and
credit conditions, ratification of appraisal – project
distribution policy, appointment of Governor as
Governor/alternate Governor to the IMF for St. Lucia.
