CCB Donates EC$16,200 to the Anguilla Boat Racing Committee |
July 13, 2007:
The Caribbean Commercial Bank has donated EC$16,200 to the
Anguilla Boat Racing Committee for sponsorship of the August
Wednesday Boat Race. The winning team will be presented the
CCB Gold Cup.
A symbolic check in the above stated amount was presented to
Chairman of the Boat Racing Committee, Mr. Paul Romney by
CCB representative, Ms. Karen York on July 10, 2007 at the
Bank’s premises.
It is the bank’s firm belief that Boat Racing is an integral
part of Anguilla’s culture and it is of paramount importance
that every effort is made to support and maintain this our
national sport. Additionally, as a financial institution
which is committed to community development, CCB is proud to
continue its sponsorship of this sporting event which
fosters our thriving community spirit.
