9, 2007: Anguilla's reigning
Carnival Queen Amber Woodley represented Anguilla in
this year's Miss Carival Pageant in St. Vincent. The pageant
was held on Friday July 6th 2007 and comprised four rounds:
swimwear, talent evening gown and interview.
Participating countries were , St. Kitts & Nevis,
Anguilla, Antigua & Barbuda, Barbados, Dominica, Venezuela,
Dominica Republic and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Ms Woodley was well pleased with
her performance.
"I believe I represented to the
best of my ability and my performance was well received by
the audience." Amber Woodley.
The competition was won by Miss Dominica - Leandra Lander
while first runner up was awarded to St. Kitts & Nevis'
Tesia Burton and St. Vincent & the Grenadines' Melissa Yorke
placed second runner up.
Miss Anguilla was judged to have given the best interview on
the evening and finished in the third
runner up position.
