June 16, 2007: Kerin Lake of South Hill has been charged with causing the death of Peter Paul Plank by dangerous driving. He appeared in court earlier this week and was granted bail in the amount of EC $150,000.

Lake and Plank were involved in a head-on collision in the early evening hours of June 7, 2007 along the Sandy Ground main road.  72 year old  Plank, a resident of South Hill originally from Ohio, USA was driving, car A8275. Lake was driving  vehicle, A027.
