Digicel supports Anguilla’s Foster Caregivers. |
Anguilla, May 22, 2007 – As part of the 40th Anniversary
celebrations of the Anguilla Revolution, Digicel showed its
support to the Department of Social Development to honor a
number of persons who have provided foster care services to
the children of Anguilla.
Country Manager, Stephenie Brooks, provided certificates for
two mobile phones to Daphne Hodge, Director of the
Department of Social Development, to present to the foster
care givers in acknowledgement and appreciation of their
selflessness and unwavering dedication to the children of
Anguilla.
“We are deeply honored to be able to support the Department
of Social Development as they recognize these special
persons who have not only opened their hearts, but their
homes as well to our children,” commented Stephenie Brooks,
Country Manager of Digicel Anguilla.
“Thank you to Digicel for recognizing the important role
foster care givers play in community and we appreciate their
sponsorship,” said Daphne Hodge, Director of Foster Care
Services.
