Gli arrives in Anguilla - Photos included |
May 22, 2007: Kalinago Caribs on the Gli Gli canoe sailed into
Sandy Ground Harbour, Anguilla on Monday May 21 as a part of
their journey north from Dominica
through the
Leeward Islands. Islands visited so far include,
Antigua, St.Kitts, Nevis, St. Barths and St. Maarten.
The group is
expected to spend 3 days on the island and
participate in a programme of activities organized
by the Anguilla National Trust in collaboration with
the Ministry of Social Development. |
