Hosts Duckhorn Wine Dinner |
Maundays Bay, Anguilla (May 8, 2007) Cap Juluca
continues its acclaimed wine dinner series this weekend with
the wines from California wine producer
Duckhorn Wine Company.
The epicurean dinner, features food from Cap Juluca’s award
winning Executive Chef George Reid, and will be held at
beautiful PIMMS restaurant on Saturday, May 12th at 7:30pm.
The dinner is part of the resort’s celebrated Gastronomic
Celebrations events, a series of gourmet dinners that pair
world-class chefs with the world’s best wines.
Margaret Duckhorn, co-founder and executive vice president
of marketing and sales for Duckhorn Wine Company, will be on
hand to explain the wine selections for the dinner and
enrich the dining experience for guests. All three of
Duckhorn Wine Company’s labels, Duckhorn, Paraduxx and
Goldeneye will be featured as part of the 5- course dinner
that is being created by Chef Reid and his team. |

The menu will
showcase some of Chef Reid’s signature French Asian style
cooking, with such exotic selections as crayfish poached in
lemongrass, pan seared striped sea bass, cumin rubbed veal
loin and dry aged beef strip loin. Each course has been
carefully paired with a Duckhorn Wine Company wine to
complement and enhance the flavour of the meal and enjoyment
of the wines.
Guests at the dinner will have an opportunity to meet with
Mrs. Duckhorn and Chef Reid and learn about the complexities
of their selections for the dinner. The evening starts off
with a champagne reception at 7:30pm, followed by dinner
service starting at 8:00pm. Seating is limited and
reservations are strongly recommended. Cost per person is
US$125.00 plus 15% service charge. Reservations can be made
