MS. DIGICEL CARIBBEAN TALENTED TEEN PAGEANT CONFIRMS TWELVE COUNTRIES

The Valley, Anguilla, May 7, 2007 --  Plans are well on the way for the staging of the second annual Miss Digicel Caribbean Talented Teen Pageant. Twelve countries have confirmed their participation in this year’s pageant so far; Antigua and Barbuda, British Virgin Islands, Curacao, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, St.Kitts, St.LuciaSt. Maarten/St.Martin, Trinidad and Tobago and host country Anguilla.

The contestant will be on island two days before the pageant participating in various activities planned just for them. The pageant will take place on May 26th, and will be held at the Landsome Bowl Cultural Center at 8 p.m. During the show, each contestant will make five appearances in each of the following categories; Fanfare, Promotional Speech, Talent, Evening Wear and Interview.

This year’s fanfare choreographed by Artistic Designer Barry George of St. Lucia will pay  tribute to each contestant’s country as displayed through traditional dresses and country flags.

Ticket prices are; $15 US/$40 EC for adults and $8 US/$20EC for children.
