February 28, 2007: Newsday.com is reporting that the
grieving wife of Eric Reistetter, the American who drowned
in Anguilla last week has informed them that a paper work
glitch in Anguilla has delayed the return of her husband's
body back home the United States. She described the
news, 5 days after his death, as yet another crushing
blow to the family.
According to the website " Reistetter and a family
friend, Anthony DeLisio, of Ronkonkoma, said someone in
Anguilla, where the family stopped as part of a dolphin
swimming tour, mistakenly identified Eric Reistetter in
travel documents as an Anguillan
citizen.
Because of that, American Airlines - which is transporting
the body back - cited security
concerns for not yet bringing Eric Reistetter
back to the United States, a family friend said."The
