 STEVE BRYAN
TO BE BURIED - MORE THAN 3 MONTHS AFTER DEATH.
February 20, 2007: Today, more than 3 months after passing, Anguillanews.com has learnt that authorities have finally decided to bury the deceased inmate, Steve Bryan on Saturday February 24. On August 9th 2006, Steve Bryan an inmate at Her Majesty's prison awaiting retrial, was allegedly beaten into a state of unconsciousness by a fellow inmate. He was immediately hospitalized and subsequently flown to Trinidad for further treatment. The severely injured prisoner was returned to Anguilla on October 17 and died eleven days later at approximately 8:15 pm. To the best of our knowledge no report to-date has been presented to the family to explain his beating, death and prolonged burial delay all while in the custody of officials. |
