ANONYMOUS COUPLE ESTABLISHES US $100,000 SCHOLARSHIP FUND Jan 10th 2006 - A US $100,000 endowment fund has been set up at the Anguilla Community Foundation (ACF) by an anonymous donor. The fund, termed the Anguilla College Education Fund is meant to finance an annual scholarships for Anguillian students studying information technology and medical sciences. The first scholarship to be paid from the interest earned on the endowment funds, is expected to be awarded in September at a value of approximately $8000.00. The donors are said to be a married couple who have a home in Anguilla and have visited the island for many years. They hope that their donation will encourage others to contribute to the fund or to establish similar funds with the ACF.
