30, 2008: Students call on Chief Minister to end Sand Mining at Windward Point: Armed with a petition containing over 300 signatures from members of the Community, and citing destruction of a four storey dune, the Albena Lake Hodge Comprehensive School (A.L.H.C.S) Environmental Club has called upon the Government of Anguilla (GOA) to make the mining of Sand from Windward Point and all beaches in Anguilla illegal. St Lucia chalked up 136 for 8 with Shervin Charles top scoring with 31 from 26 deliveries. refrain from visiting St. Martin/St. Maarten without a valid
certification of registration for their boats. The French authorities in
St. Martin have advised their Anguillian counterparts that all boats
entering their maritime space will result in a fine or other penalty if
the captain of the boat is not able to produce this document upon
request.
